About: The Feminist Agenda vs. God's Design for Women

Photobucket

THE FEMINIST AGENDA -- In their leaders’ own words:

1. "The simple fact is that every woman must be willing to be identified
as a lesbian to be fully feminist." (National NOW Times, Jan.1988).

2. "Since marriage constitutes slavery for women, it is clear that the
women's movement must concentrate on attacking this institution. Freedom
for women cannot be won without the abolition of marriage." (radial
feminist leader Sheila Cronan).

3. "Being a housewife is an illegitimate profession... The choice to
serve and be protected and plan towards being a family-maker is a choice
that shouldn't be. The heart of radical feminism is to change that."
(Vivian Gornick, feminist author, University of Illinois, "The Daily
Illini," April 25, 1981.

4. The most merciful thing a large family can do to one of its infant
members is to kill it." (Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood,
in "Women and the New Rage," p.67.

5. "In order to raise children with equality, we must take them away from
families and communally raise them." (Dr. Mary Jo Bane, feminist and
assistant professor of education at Wellesley College and associate
director of the school's Center for Research on Woman).

6. "Marriage has existed for the benefit of men; and has been a legally
sanctioned method of control over women... We must work to destroy it.
The end of the institution of marriage is a necessary condition for the
liberation of women. Therefore it is important for us to encourage women
to leave their husbands and not to live individually with men... All of
history must be re-written in terms of oppression of women. We must go
back to ancient female religions like witchcraft." (from "The Declaration
of Feminism," November 1971).

7. "Overthrowing capitalism is too small for us. We must overthrow the
whole... patriarch!" (Gloria Steinhem, radical feminist leader, editor of
'MS' magazine).

8. In response to a question concerning China's policy of compulsory
abortion after the first child, Molly Yard responded, "I consider the
Chinese government's policy among the most intelligent in the world."
(Gary Bauer, "Abetting Coercion in China," The Washington Times", October
10, 1989).

9. "Let's forget about the mythical Jesus and look for encouragement,
solace and inspiration from real women... Two thousand years of
patriarchal rule under the shadow of the cross ought to be enough to turn
women toward the feminist 'salvation' of this world." (Annie Laurie
Gaylor, "Feminist Salvation," "The Humanist", July/August 1988, p.37.

10. "By the year 2000 we will, I hope, raise our children to believe in
human potential, not God." (Gloria Steinhem, editor of 'MS' magazine.)

Dear readers,
If you're like me in any way, these statements just made you heart sick.
Not only are all these statements blatantly evil, but they go totally and completely
against what God has instituted for women.
I encourage you to take a few minutes and read over these scriptures.

Titus 2:3-6
3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
6 Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded,

Proverbs 31:10-12
10 Who can find a virtuous" wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her;
So he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.
27,28
27 She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
30.31
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates.

I Timothy 2:11-14
11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.

What are your thoughts on this matter?
I hope to hear from you!
Blessings~

My heart aches...
#1 ~ God, created me a woman to cleave to a man...my HUSBAND.
#2 ~ We already see the blatant attack on marriage now ~ the blessing is to be married and I am thankful for that covering, protection and picture that God-ordained marriage is.
#3 ~ I'd like to see Ms. Gornick manage what I manage and then call what I do 'illegitimate'. What blessings she is missing (even on my most challenged days...).
#4 ~ My heart bleeds at this one! I would not think (by the GRACE OF GOD) to do that to a living child (from conception).
#5 ~ So that bad company can corrupt good morals? I have seen far too many children affected from the 'group' setting...I CHOOSE to obey God's word and train up my children in the way they SHOULD go...
#6 ~ My God have mercy...once again the attack on marriage ~ destroy the 'family', bring down a nation? Press on husbands and wives to raise your children according to the word of the living God, praying fervantly for those that are blinded of the Truth.
#7 ~ Ms. Steinham, reaps the benefit from capitalism...amazing.
#8 ~ And there population today? Where will they be 10, 20, 30 years from now. Who will there be to take care of aging parents, grandparents? And our country...who will be there to pay the taxes for all the policies being enacted? Comman sense (even from a non-biblical worldview...)...
#9 ~ It is because of that 'cross' there is Light and Hope...
#10 ~ And they will continue to promote this philosophy...may those with the Truth, live It, teach It and exhort others to It. May our children be arrows that are shot straight into this world of darkness...

Pressing on with a renewed sense of urgency and diligence...

Uugh! I've always hated this poster. It's sad but the effect of these quotes is being reflected in our culture today. Whenever anyone seeks to find fulfillment in something other than God they will be sadly misled. It is a shame but people would rather be led by sinful men than a perfect God.

Woe. Woe. Woe.
What a nerve you have hit.

Disparaging is the fact that godless women
would hiss and spew venom
at God's perfect design for women.
Their eyes unenlightened.
Their path dark.

Therein lies the heartache Jarnette speaks of.
Joining Deb..uugh
I can feel it now in the depths of me.

Woe unto them.
Polish the arrows girls.

I pray that young girls today would not fall prey to these lies!
Our loving Creator gave us His commandments, His guidelines, and the creation turns their backs on it. Very sad, yet we must be thankful for the wonderful grace that He has bestowed upon us to see the truth, and to share it!
God's plan and design is so perfect, yet sin corrupts us so.
May we as Christians set an example to this dark world!

Wow thanks for sharing! I am pretty sure I've read this before somewhere, but it's always sobering to read things like this. Praise God we have friends like you girls who I know will be godly women and honor the Lord! Love you :)

Thank you for speaking out. These are horrible statments. If women truely embraced who we are in Christ and the power he gave us through him we would not need to act like a man. He made us so unique and we get to show the world his compassion, & his heart.

Emmy-Rae!
This is a very well quoted and well put together entry! Misandry is just as bad as misogyny...and on par with racism, xenophobia and all other disguises of hate. Being "radical" in any faucet of thought has always led to bitterness and controversy. These "radical feminists" are steering the country and other young women onto a dismal path. So much so...that we've forgotten what feminism was all about: When the second wave of the feminist movement began approximately forty-two years ago, it was motivated by important factors such as the need to ensure equal work for equal pay, which promoted the overall notion that a woman is a man’s equal in the workforce. While objectives such as this were crucial and paved the way for women to achieve equal rights with men, the movement lost it's way because it failed to acknowledge the intrinsic difference between men and women. In a rush to make sure that women were not repressed, that we were treated as well as men, it tried to claim that men and women, apart from their plumbing, were identical. Being equal, however, does not mean being the same. Instead of admitting that women are different from men by nature, and that these differences are complementary and vital to our success as a society, we have chosen to change women into men and, in so doing, to deny the female nature that inspires and elevates. We have worked so hard to turn women into men, and fearfully, we are getting closer and closer to making this a full-scale reality.
What radical feminists are doing is directly opposite to their supported cause: encouraging women to BE men...all while chastising ("hating on") men. Makes sense, non?

No? Not to me either.

I would like to give my own personal interpretation to Proverb 31...which, in full encourages women to be more than just silent, walking wombs: It encourages us to be influential, wise in business, industrious, well educated, elegant and trustworthy. We ARE more than what our bodies are capable of.

Women are amazing!...and so are men. Both in equal parts working in tandem.

Love you! (and the women in your life too!)
